MA / LPN / LNA- Outpatient Primary Care- Per Diem / Part Time
PURPOSE: Many of the daily tasks that medical assistants perform are a combination of clerical and clinical duties to support patients in receiving the highest quality care.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
Medical assistants are responsible for performing a range of administrative tasks, including:
- Managing office telephone systems, including answering calls, completing intakes and returning messages
- Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining communication to confirm future appointments
- Documenting patients' medical information, including medical history and health insurance information
- Performing data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintaining patient files
- Coordinating daily office activities, greeting patients and checking patients in and out for their appointments
- Other duties as assigned
CLINICAL DUTIES:
Medical assistants are responsible for performing a variety of clinical tasks including:
- Recording patients' vital signs, documenting providers’ notes and changes in medical conditions
- Prepping exam rooms and assisting providers with patient care
- Assisting providers during routine checkups, outpatient procedures and other physical exams
- Monitoring and documenting patient symptoms review during office visits
- Monitoring for MAT program compliance
- Assisting with MAT program guidelines
- Providing compassionate patient support and care, attention and assistance during office visits
- Preparing and administering medications under the direction of providers
- Other duties as assigned
Required education
High School Diploma, College degree preferred
Licensed Medical Assistance, Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Nursing Assistant required
Required experience
Experience is required and skill proficiency in the following areas:
- Proficiency in administrative tasks
- Basic understanding of clinical tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Counselor / Therapist -Outpatient Substance Abuse

PURPOSE:
To provide excellent personal outpatient therapy by a fully licensed therapist to meet the clinically significant behavioral or psychological symptoms or patterns that have been identified as treatment needs of the client. Services are provided during scheduled sessions within an office setting. It can be provided to individuals, groups, couples and families. It can include psychotherapy, education, other specialized therapies, and collateral work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid non-restricted VT License to practice therapy: LCMHC, LADC, LiCSW etc.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as suitable computer skills (web based programs, Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Must be able to pass a background check and professional licensure background check
The following credentials apply when seeking employment with FCCS, LLC as a therapist and must be provided:
- For Licensed Professional Counselors, proof of current License to practice
- Professional Liability Insurance (may be obtained after hire)
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Complete assessments, diagnosis, recommend treatment, treatment plans, discharge planning and apply appropriate therapeutic modalities.
- Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports and electronic medical records.
- Demonstrate ability to assess treatment recipient’s risk of harm to self, others, and/or the community.
- Able to demonstrate skills in mediation, facilitation, advocacy and resolving systemic concerns.
- Oversight of mental health services provided by other staff.
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize, use time management skills as well as organizational skills in order to practice independently within a team.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with positive productive interaction with other professionals and staff members.
- Demonstrate ability to work with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds and mandated clients.
HOURS / WORK DAYS:
- Position offers flexibility with scheduling- hours and work dates are established by your preference and availability
- Evenings and weekends are available.
- Requires a minimum of 15 hrs of availability per week
